I’m sure there are loads of parents out there (and other great caregivers) that love the idea of getting creative and getting the kids into some craft but don’t really know where to start and dread the preparation. Or is that just me?
Miss E received some gorgeous gifts at Christmas, one of them being a DIY costume kit from Seedling NZ. My cousin, who works with young children in a top Early Learning Centre is mad about kids, and when she isn’t looking after her young charges at work, she’s professionally babysitting others and coming up with fantastic activities for them to do. I’m not sure how she got on to these kits but they are amazing! There are so many different types to chose from on the Good Things For Kids website and I will be definitely looking at getting some for both the kids to enjoy. The kit Miss E unwrapped for Christmas was the ‘Create Your Own Ice Princess Tutu’. Well create we did! It was really pretty easy, I did the cutting and tying of the tulle and little Miss E had fun directing me on where she would like the glittery embellishments. Pretty cool hey?
So easy, everything we needed was in the box!
