So I had my baby! Eventually.

It seems that my babies like to hang out with mum a little longer than most before making their appearance into the world. While Master E entered the world one day before a scheduled induction, Miss E must have missed the memo and required a little prodding. She arrived on the 4th of May, yes, my very own Star Wars baby (if you don’t get the Star Wars reference Google the 4th of May), at the respectable time 1:05 in the afternoon. Both of us happy and healthy.

And so my foray into the world as a mother of two has begun. So far so good. I am thankful and count my blessings that I have been lucky enough to give birth to two gorgeous kids without any major complications and/or health issues. Master E has dealt with the new addition to our family pretty well, only one real meltdown on day three of being home from hospital with his new little sister but he made a quick recovery! Miss E is three and a half weeks old now and we are getting a great amount of sleep compared to some of the other mums I’ve shared this pregnancy with, so I’m grateful for that.

We had some beautiful newborn photos taken and some with both the kids that I can’t wait to get back. A gorgeous friend of my sister’s did them for us at her home studio. Her business is Melting Hearts Photography and I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who works out of the south of Adelaide. Here’s a sneak peek!

So, the blogging will continue, but as I’m adjusting and getting myself into the routine of juggling two kids and this thing we call life, the posts may be a little slower in getting published. We’ll see. Now back to Master E who is still hungry and needs a banana 🙂
